Canberra Star Ball

Since 1988, Starlight has transformed the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families, throughout Australia. Based on the World Health Organisation’s Social Model of Health, Starlight programs are designed to make children happy and lift their spirits when they need it most, building resilience so they are better able to cope with the challenges serious illness brings.

Starlight transforms a child’s hospital experience from traumatic to magical, enhancing their long-term wellbeing. Star Ball Canberra was established in 2006 and has now raised over an amazing $2.3m for Starlight.

Bungendore Harvest Festival

The Bungendore Harvest Festival brings the Bungendore region alive in a celebration of food, farming and fibre related activities. The Bungendore Harvest Festival promotea integrity and freshness in the growing, breeding and production of produce in the Southern Harvest Region.

Canberra Women In Business

Canberra Women in Business is a not for profit incorporated association, supporting women in business in the Canberra region. Formed in 1992 as the Chamber of Women in Business, Canberra Women in Business is an organisation created by women and run solely for women, to provide support and networking opportunities for businesswomen in the Canberra region. Canberra Women in Business fosters the confidence to establish and grow successful businesses.

YouthCARE Canberra

YouthCARE Canberra actively provides outreach services to young people (12 to 25 years) at risk, in an effort to help those facing homelessness and violence. YouthCARE Canberra offer after hours support and a non-judgmental approach to helping those in need.

YothCARE Canberra go out into the community and engage with yougn people who cannot, or will not, access, working with them over time to re-connect them to mainstream society.
